At least 10 people have been killed and 20 injured after a bus carrying schoolchildren plunged off a cliff in a rural area in northern Colombia, the local governor said on Sunday.
In a post on X, Antioquia Governor Andrés Julián said the bus was traveling from the Caribbean city of Tolú to Medellín after a school trip and was carrying students from the Antioqueño high school.
“So far, more than 10 fatalities and 20 injured have been reported. The entire hospital network is on alert and ready to provide support in this emergency,” Julián wrote.
